DHOOM 3 - The fifth degree torture...

Last movie I watched in theatre was "Lunchbox" and it was amazing to say the least. Since then I have watched movie only on my laptop.
So, a couple of days before this Friday on 20th of December 2013, as I was approached by couple of my friends for watching "Dhoom 3" , I was not sure, but then I said, just because I would be going along with friends and next thing, it was an Aamir movie.
TLDR - It was a horrible decision and I should have said "NO". It's a 5th degree torture, ie the movie "Dhoom 3".
For the records, I have not watched the two earlier parts of the same franchise. So, I had no expectations, and no biases to judge the third part of the franchise.
The movie starts with Jackie Shroff and I was surpised pleasantly, as I had not read anywhere that he is part of the movie. I kind of like this guy, over the years, since "Teri Meharbaniyaan" and "Hero" came.
But then, everything is abrupt from the start itself.

Salman Khurshid would never be able to enter the current parliament again...

Salman Khurshid, himself an eminent poet/writer , has probably not heard of a prominent couplet in Urdu,"Josh mein aa kar, hosh nahin khona chahiye".Translated, what it means is that, "You should not lose your sanity, in excitement."
But then, laws are different in India. Even if it is a common adage, knd of thing.
If you are in the upper echelons, you can get away with almost anything and everything. Just a few moment ago, I read in the news paper that Maharashtra Cabinet has rejected the Adarsh Committee report, while sitting on its ass for months, deliberating whether to table the report or not, even after repeated reminders by the courts.
In the same vein, Maharashtra governor denied permission to prosecute Ashok Chavan in the same case.
There is another couplet in hindi"Chor-chor mauserey bhai!" ,which when translated means that "Thieves are in arms as brothers, when it comes to saving each other."
So Mr Salman Khurshid thought that the above co…

All my lords are cowering behind the benches...

The judiciary which has often proved to be the only saving grace for this country, has not only let itself down but millions of people in this country, whose last hope has often been judiciary, after being beaten around by both the executive and bureaucracy.
But what has happened recently in the case of Justice Ganguly molestation and sexual assault case, and the way the entire judiciary, specially the brethren of Justice Ganguly, higher up in the echelons of Supreme Court of India have behaved has really surprised everyone.
Supreme Court shocked by one of their own indulging in such deplorable and detestable practise, is trying to get away by just instituting an enquiry and publishing its result. The most hilarious aspect is that the Supreme Court's own enquiry has indicted Justice Ganguly, but still no one in the entire judiciary is advocating for any action?
The question which the country is now asking is that, does even judiciary believes in double standards? The judiciary which …

Why no one is doing anything for Muzaffarnagar riot victims?

It is extremely shameful to read every day in newspapers about the plight of Muzaffarnagar riot victims. If moving out of the homes and losing near and dear ones was not enough, nature is also tormenting them in the best possible way.

Minimum temperatures are hovering around 3 degrees centigrade and are the lowest in that region.
While the media has been at the forefront of bringing to the fore the difficult times faced by thousands of people in this winter (at least print media is doing that, I am not sure about the News Channels, as I do not watch TV), what is extremely intriguing is that whay no one is doing anything...
On a closer inspection, everything becomes clear. Lets take this case by case...
A) Congress - :
I am not sure what is happening at their end, probably they are too paralysed by the recent elections. While when the riots happened, honourable PM and the UPA Chairman Ms Gandhi were there, and were found shedding tears, just like it happens in the normal course of politics…
