This is not the Republic we fought for, and neither are these men...

In my memory this has been the most anguishing Republic Day. Given an opportunity I always look forward to watch the RD Parade, but I skipped that today.

Yesterday's incident in which Additional Collector of Manmad, Shri Yashwant Sonawne was burnt alive by the oil mafia men in broad daylight, is a blot on all of us and not only the Government.

I always thought there are only a few good men on this planet and all of them wear Olive Green. After 26/11, Apparently It made me believe that a few of them wear Khaki also. But no one was on my list who wore Civvies..

But yesterday, this belief of mine was shattered brutally by this inhuman incident. You dont need such drastic incidents to change someone beliefs, but it happened that way only.

Everyone will blame the Government, but aren't we responsible. If there has been other voices also to protest against what was happening at Manmad, this would not have happened. And in the manner this incident happened, it reflected that those guys feared none. And all the people of Manmad were crude spectators, just spectators with their lips sealed.
If only they would have protested, increased their voice against local MLA, MP, Police, may be the situation would have been different.

In fact, I am so sad to say that the sacrifice of Manjunath the IOC employee who was killed a few years back by the same Oil Mafia, went into vain...None of us learnt and neither did the Government...

A couple of brave men, went down fighting for us cowards... WHY???

In another incident, some Jokers of BJP, were trying to pull together another stunt and regale us with all of the kinda wholesome entertainment  they provide us,so often...

If I would have been in there place, I would have called off that sham Yatra in mark of respect of that man, who laid down his live in the line of duty.

Do you really want to celebrate RD when such incidents happen, whats the meaning of just un-furling a flag for the heck of it. Do these jokers even know whats the significance of a flag flying in a territory...

"The Indian National Flag represents the hopes and aspirations of the people of India. It is the
symbol of our national pride. Over the last five decades, several people including members of armed
forces have ungrudgingly laid down their lives to keep the tricolour flying in its full glory"- The Flag code of India

Are these people who are hell bent on flying the flag in Kashmir represents the hopes and aspirations of India, NO!!!
They are parasites who thrive on the every opportunity available to survive...And most of all they are doing it grudgingly, against the incumbent government, nothing else...

Do they have the mandate from all of us to do that, NO...

Then why we are allowing that, because we are not only cowards but we enjoy the daily dose of circus also...

We don bother at all, whatever happens...Content with the way our lives are going...

Do we all have some kind of responsibility towards this Republic or we are just content with sending terrible SMS on Independence and Republic Day and now tweeting and posting the same on FB...

We all are leading a very lame life...

Lot many of the guys up above in the sky would be wondering, This is not the republic we fought for, and neither are these men...
