"Reason of Study or Love"

A poem written by an Engg student in his answersheet...funniest stuff ever.

Poem title was - "Reason of Study or Love". Poem was:-

Her face is bright, her face is light,
her leap is likely rose, but for kiss she oppose.
Almost I immerse in arm,she is one and very charm
I see her face in book of bee,I see her face in glass of tea.
I m student of engg for she,I m not count for free.
Anywhere I go but my face is low, because she is no in place so I m not fresh.
Why do I love you,why do my half live without you.
No no without her I am not living, far I go and long time slipping.

*bee = basic electrical engineering was the subject

As a kid, I spent my summers with my grandparents on their ranch in Texas. I helped fix windmills, vaccinate cattle, and do other chores. We also watched soap operas every afternoon, especially "Days of our Lives." My grandparents belonged to a Caravan Club, a group of Airstream trailer owners who travel together around the U.S. and Canada. And every few summers, we'd join the caravan. We'd hitch up the Airstream trailer to my grandfather's car, and off we'd go, in a line with 300 other Airstream adventurers. I loved and worshipped my grandparents and I really looked forward to these trips. On one particular trip, I was about 10 years old. I was rolling around in the big bench seat in the back of the car. My grandfather was driving. And my grandmother had the passenger seat. She smoked throughout these trips, and I hated the smell.

Koshish karney walon ki haar nahin hoti : Harivansh Rai Bachchan

Koshish Karne Walon Ki Haar Nahin Hoti
Lahron Se Dar Kar Nauka Par Nahin Hoti

Koshish Karne Walon Ki Haar Nahin Hoti
Nanhi Chiti Jab Dana Lekar Chalti Hai

Chadhti Deewaron Par Sau Bar Phislati Hain
Man Ka Viswas Ragon Mein Sahas Bharta Hain

Chadhkar Girna Girkar Chadhna Na Akharta Hain
Akhir Uski Mehnat Bekar Nahin Hoti

Koshis Karne Walon Ki Haar Nahin Hoti
Dubkiyan Sindhu Mein Gotakhor Lagata Hain

Ja Jakar Khali Haath Laut Aata Hain
Milte Nahin Sahaj Hi Moti Gahre Pani Mein

Badhta Duna Utsah Isi Hairani Mein
Muthi Uski Khali Her Bar Nahi Hoti

Koshis Karne Walon Ki Haar Nahin Hoti
Asaflta Ek Chunauti Hain Swavikar Karo

Kya Kami Rah Gayi Dekho Aur Sudhar Karo
Jab Tak Na Safal Ho Neend Chain Ko Tyago Tum

Sangharshon Ka Maidan Chod Mat Bhago Tum
Kuch Kiye Bina Hi Jayjaykar Nahin Hoti
Koshis Karne Walon Ki Her Nahin Hoti

Wake Up India : ET Awards advertisement

Wake up India.

Its time not to go to work.

Its time to get people to work for you.

Don't be an engineer just because you have a degree in engineering.

Do what you think you're good at.

And you'll be good at what you think.

Start something thats your own...

Where you cant be sacked and certainly can't quit.

Start something for as little as ten thousand. You dont need much more than that.

You dont need refrence, politicians or police. All you need is, you.

Start.

And ten thousand could become thirty billion.

Its true, you can do it.

You who's reading this ad. You simple, regular guy.

Like it happened once to a simple, regular guy

Wake up India and start dreaming....

I'd hold you up to say to your mother, "this kid's gonna be the best kid in the world.

This kid's gonna be somebody better than anybody I ever knew." And you grew up good and wonderful.

It was great just watching you, every day was like a privilige.

Then the time come for you to be your own man and take on the world, and you did. But somewhere along the line, you changed. You stopped being you.

You let people stick a finger in your face and tell you you're no good. And when things got hard, you started looking for something to blame, like a big shadow.

Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life.

But it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get it and keep moving forward. How much you can …

Wall Street...

Well, I appreciate the opportunity you're giving me Mr. Cromwell as the single largest shareholder in Teldar Paper, to speak.

Well, ladies and gentlemen we're not here to indulge in fantasy but in political and economic reality.

America, America has become a second-rate power. Its trade deficit and its fiscal deficit are at nightmare proportions. Now, in the days of the free market when our country was a top industrial power, there was accountability to the stockholder.

The Carnegies, the Mellons, the men that built this great industrial empire, made sure of it because it was their money at stake. Today, management has no stake in the company! All together, these men sitting up here own less than three percent of the company.

And where does Mr. Cromwell put his million-dollar salary? Not in Teldar stock; he owns less than one percent.

You own the company. That's right, you, the stockholder. And you are all being royally screwed over by these, these bureaucrats, with their …

Any given sunday...

I don't know what to say, really.

Three minutes to the biggest battle of our professional lives. All comes down to today, and either, we heal as a team, or we're gonna crumble.

Inch by inch, play by play. Until we're finished. We're in hell right now, gentlemen.

Believe me. And, we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

Now I can't do it for ya, I'm too old. I look around, I see these young faces and I think, I mean, I've made every wrong choice a middle-aged man can make. I, uh, I've pissed away all my money, believe it or not. I chased off anyone who's ever loved me. And lately, I can't even stand the face I see in the mirror.

You know, when you get old, in life, things get taken from you. I mean, that's... that's... that's a part of life.

But, you only learn that when you start losin' stuff. You find out life's this game of i…

A billion eye-balls :The clear and present opportunity...

Wherever you go , you would notice that out of 10 people at least 8 are engaged on their mobile phones and out of that at least 7 are staring at the mobile phone screens.

That’s the “clear and present opportunity”, a billion eye-balls to start with.
Advent of non-voice/non-sms mobile telephony has been limping in India due to the connectivity issues.

So we don’t see too much of action in this space except that everyone is vying to have an Apps Store of their name. But for the fact is that still to download those apps, you need to have a faster and consistent download speed.

With the launch of 3G and mobile broad-band ,the things are going to change soon and this shall launch the next set of revolution and the best part is that the hardware is already cheap, with a 3G mobile phones in the range of 3-4K rupees.

While Social Networking has really caught up on mobile-phones, it in no way “eases your life”, but it so tremendously has helped as a catalyst for the things to come…

The advent of 3…
