The return of the "School Boy"

And the “School Boy” is none other than me. The similarities are there in appearance and in deed.

So with my laptop bag on my shoulder, it reminds me of the school days when you cant go to school without your bag, and similar is the case here with your laptop. Now which other accessories you carry to school apart from your bag, the most common one is “water- bottle”, isn’t it.

Now I have got that one too. A few days back while shopping for my running gear at a sports outlet, my eyes set on a water-bottle. It was freaking expensive for a water bottle but then buying that one has some inherent advantages……Fruit juices just lie in my fridge for ages, without even getting their packs open coz I laze at the very thought of drinking it in the morning while coming to work.

After buying this bottle, I could just fill it with juice and can sip it all the way to work.

So now I carry a bag on my shoulder and a water bottle to sip juice, and when I leave my home for office, it feels like getting too …

"If"- Its on my laptop background now....

Guess, all of us have read this poem in our lives….I am talking about “If” by Rudyard Kipling.
I read on somebody’s blog that this poem is framed and compulsorily kept in the room of every cadet at National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla, Pune.

And yes why not, can there by anything more inspiring and gut-wrenching than this poem. Mr. Kipling has put the entire essence of life and living in this poem.

So well I thought of putting this piece of brilliance in front of my eyes also forever, so that I can take inspiration from it, like the millions of others.

And thus, its now on my laptop background…..And believe me every single time I read these lines……I want to be a man…..
